My name is Peter Bragino. I was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 14, 1971. My story is fairly simple. I knew from a very young age that I'd be an artist. It was always something that I did. My friends would get together to play hockey and I'd always try to persuade them to draw instead. I did a lot of drawing as a kid and was generally "good at it". Good enough to get constant accolades from my family and friends which is the fuel that kept me going….
Since then I've worked very hard and continue to do so on a daily basis for my ability to produce pictures. I can honestly say that I'm living my dream but it's no walk in the park. The people that I respect the most in the art world are the hardest working people I know….
Today I'm a working artist concentrating mostly on Fine Art. I produce paintings to show and sell prints of my work. I've done a plethora of different things as an artist. Some of these include: Tshirt design, airbrush illustration, car and motorcycle murals, tattoo design, graffiti, photo-realistic portraits, photography, web design, body art and wall murals to name a few. I've worked as an art director and done the high paced design industry as well. I didn't care for the corporate turn and burn experience much….
I now own and operate Bragino Creations which focuses on producing and selling my individual art. This is a formidable task. Anyone who runs their own business will understand what I mean. I really enjoy it though because it's always different and highly challenging. As a former Marine a good challenge is always welcome. I hope this site offers the people that enjoy my art a more personal look into who I am, why I do this, how I got here, and how I get it done. I look forward to sharing my thoughts, my knowledge, my art, milife…

BIOGRAPHY
"Few artists on the New York scene are as dynamic as Peter Bragino. While daring and proactive, his work simultaneously displays classic skill and a keen design sense. He combines painting, drawing and the graphic arts in a swirling maelstrom of detail, design and raw emotion. Whether you are viewing his art on a canvas, paper, or digital media, it's Bragino’s confident line and sweeping sense of motion in any medium that defines him as an artist.
Bragino culls his imagery from both natural and man-made environments. The Goddess, Mother Nature, and eastern and urban art are some of his many influences. Always reading and constantly sketching from life, he turns his careful studies into surrealistic landscapes that invite viewers into his unique mind’s eye. His figurative and composition-based pieces showcase his sophisticated draftsmanship and innovative approach to the page.
Self-taught and highly motivated, Bragino began his art career as an airbrush artist in California after a 5 year enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. Bragino was born in Brooklyn, New York and knew from an early age that he would grow up to be an artist. Currently, he is focused on building his art career and business, Bragino Creations in Long Island, NY. Highly intuitive and dedicated to fostering artistic dialogue and collaboration, he is an electrifying presence in the art world. With humble sincerity, he invites you into his creative circle to share his vision and inspire your own creative forces."
