Sketch 070119

With this sketch I was trying to be a little more graphic than the ones before which were leaning towards representational (depicting things that are identifiable in the natural world). Sometimes it's good to just go crazy, make a mess and than try to fix it. Drawing to me is like solving a puzzle that only exists in your imagination. I think imagination is the key to success in creativity. Without it you can fall into the trap of becoming a technician. Technique is important but it should never overshadow feeling and imagination in my opinion. I dare you to create a drawing on my Sketchpad that gives you the freedom to mess up. I believe that if you can have fun and let yourself "fail" initially your intellectuality, imagination, and sensitivity will help turn that so called "failure" into something unique.
