In short the Black Heart ball was really interesting. That's the optimum way to describe all of the Asylum events….Kevin Corcoran and I tackled a decent sized collaborative painting, about 6 feet by 8 feet. The image that we painted was made up of 10 individual canvases of varying sizes. Once finsihed, these 10 pieces will be added to our upcoming show entitled "Fuze"….

Below is a shot of the canvas before we started and the resulting painting below that. The canvases will now be broken down into individual pieces and worked on separately. We'll most likely spend a good amount of time sizing each canvas up and deciding on where we want to take the series visually. Each canvas will be scrutinized for it's composition and worked back into until it's strong enough to stand on it's own even though it will reside within the series of 10. I also have video from the night that's being worked on and most likely turned into a short documentary on this piece and the process of working collaboratively for Kevin and I. Stay tuned………
